The Snow Blower Story

The Snow Blower Story

It was a cold Saturday night in late November...

I’m in my local pub... sitting at the bar… having a drink, watching the hockey game...

I overhear one the guys sitting next to me talking about how he spilled half of his gas in the snow when he was trying to refuel his snowblower...

I started thinking to myself... I’ve been there before...

I started thinking back to the days before I owned a Terapump...

I then started to think about the time when I was first introduced to “her”…

It was a snowy day in the beginning of November and I saw my neighbor in his garage getting ready to fuel up his snowblower…

All of a sudden... he pulled out a pump of some sort… it was something I've never seen before…

He stuck one end of the pump into his gas can and screwed on what looked like a battery pack to the top of the gas can.

Next he took the other end of the pump, which looked like a nozzle and clipped it to the fuel tank of his snowblower.

What I saw next, really surprised me...

He pressed a button and walked away...

I watched closely, as the fuel left the gas can - it quickly began filling up the snowblower...

After a couple of minutes, the pump stopped...

I immediately walked over to him and said

“What the heck is that?”

He said...

“It’s called a Tera Pump... I bought it from Terapump Canada… it’s a battery powered fuel transfer pump and it’s a life saver!..”.

He continued…

“I’m having some sharp pains in my back..."

"This terapump helps me because I don’t put pressure on my back lifting up heavy gas cans…”

I then asked...

“How were you able to walk away when the pump is on?”

He said...

“There’s a sensor on the pump that automatically stops when the tank is full to prevent overflow”...

I thought that was impressive ...

Later that day… I ordered 2.

One to keep in the garage at home or in my truck and the other to keep in the garage at the cottage…

Suddenly… I snapped back into reality and realized I was still sitting at the bar…

When the game went into intermission… I said to the guy next to me…

“Hey, I overheard you are having a little problem with refueling your snowblower.... is that right?

He replied...

“Yeah... I wish there was some kind of device on the market that would transfer fuel without me having to lift up the gas can because I am always spilling gas all over the place....”

I told him...

“I have the solution to your problem... it’s called a Tera Pump…”

He said...

“What’s that?”

Before I could answer his buddy yelled out…

“Hey, Jim! I’m out of gas... do you have a gas can in your car?”

I said...

“I have a gas can in my truck you guys can use...Instead of me telling you about the terapump… let me show you how it works....”

It just so happened, I had my terapump with me...

I walked to my truck grabbed my gas can and attached the terapump to it...

I said...

“Jim, this is a terapump... its battery powered fuel transfer pump.”

I quickly explained how it works...

I then went to his buddy’s car attached the nozzle to his fuel tank and pressed the green ON button and like magic the Terapump started to fuel up his car...

Once the gas can was empty the pump shut off automatically...

These guys were really impressed....

I told them they could get one from terapump.ca... They thanked me for my help and offered to buy me a drink…

I went back inside to finish watching the game… had one more drink with the guys... and that ladies and gentlemen is the snowblower story…
